Stardust Journey originated with a core focus of capturing cultural elements while traveling. With the 2020 covid pandemic sending everyone into their homes and prevented from long distance travel, the art creation direction had to adapt along: to stay home and make art, all the while knowing that there are people suffering.
Shuffling about the regular daily routine of heading into studio, Stardust would be vividly reminded of this knowledge even via merely passing by the local cemetery.
It’s like a retro pinball machine, she thinks.
Virus is out and about to score under the guiding eyes of death. The resulting pinball machine records her masked wearing moments spent in studio with the studio kitties swatting away virus.
